A few things every founder should know before sending us a pitch.

Prospective investors and advisors typically cannot sign non-disclosure agreements — it may halt progress. Share information you’re comfortable disclosing. Execution matters more than the concept itself.
Live, operational websites are expected from teams seeking funding. Business plans alone are insufficient. At minimum, provide a deck or executive summary with wireframes.
Discussions should focus on identifying specific technical problems, proposed solutions, and collaboration frameworks. Deep technical comprehension from both parties is essential before conducting business.
Many entrepreneurs struggle to articulate the specific user experience issues they address. Strong companies demonstrably improve end-user experiences. Be crisp, specific, and concrete.
In-person meetings often create scheduling inefficiencies. Start with email, then consider a brief call after we’ve evaluated the product and identified substantive discussion points.
